I've used vlc Player for playing/streaming videos on iOS for years , until finding out about this app and making the switch. Here's why: *definitely more stable and efficient than vlc (fewer crashes and hang ups) *more formats supported than vlc (several hd vids, audio format of which vlc couldn't recognize worked fine with this app. ) * about a dozen customizable gestures. This is huge. *change playing speed with just two clicks or gesture, without hiccups. *more reliable connections to local servers. Etc etc. i'm not looking for another media player anytime soon , highly recommended

This app has it all. It can share and manage local files and connect to a wide variety of remote shares. The user interface is rich with features and simple to use. It has in app documentation for whatever you're trying to do. The music and video players are great and handle well under a variety of connection types. Plus, the free version is full featured, and only limits the amount of simultaneous connections. This app is great!
